These workshops are for family members, caregivers, tutors or others interested in learning basic ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strategies to use in their home.

Free Introduction: Basic ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)

Topics: • Applied Behavior Analysis overview • identifying goals • ABA tools & techniques: attending, positive reinforcement, errorless learning, task analysis, discrete trials, using observations

Family and Professional Workshop: Basic ABA and Being Proactive with Behaviors

Basic ABA topics include: Applied Behavior Analysis overview, identifying goals, motivation and reinforcement, and learning strategies for your child.

Being Proactive with Behavior topics include: Identifying behaviors, being proactive and encouraging positive behaviors and reducing inappropriate behaviors.

Family Workshop: Using Schedules for Leisure Skills and Self Help Skills

Topics: Learn how to create and implement Pre-adolescent to Adult schedules to promote leisure and self help skills for independence.

Date: Sunday, January 18

Location: Strongsville Civic Center, Strongsville, OH

Time: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Cost: $30 per person or $45 for two family members/caregivers (Onsite respite care available- first 15 registrants)

Family Workshops – Mentor, OH

Prerequisite: Basic ABA Workshop or knowledge of reinforcement, prompting, and discrete trial.
