Dear Friends and Colleagues -

As the holidays approach and the end of the year draws near, we would like to take the time to thank you for your support. "Thank you" for supporting the Arts Festival, Autism One Radio, First Responders Training, legislative initiatives, and for helping to spread the word that our children can get better.

In 2009, we are doubling what we do. Working with Autism Canada, we will bring Autism One 2009 to Toronto, strengthening the international message of hope – providing parents and practitioners the tools they need to turn hope into action. We don’t have the specifics posted yet, but we do have a great program and lineup of speakers almost ready to announce.

The Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy launches May 21 at Autism One 2009 Chicago. The two-day program features many of the finest minds in the autism legal/advocacy community and will provide a much-needed, ongoing, training program for attorneys, advocates, parents, and others interested in helping fight for the rights of our children and in finding justice.

We will continue to expand our current programs. The Arts Festival will grow, which will give more children the opportunity to showcase their creative talents; Autism One Radio is fast approaching a million shows listened to; we have educated more than a thousand first responders; the download of conference presentations is over three million; and our legislative initiatives, including the upcoming Stay at Home Mom March, will help educate the next generation of lawmakers on causes and treatments.

If we have helped you, please consider helping us. Click Here to donate or go to www.autismone.org. (Donations are tax-deductible.)

"Thank you," and as always please share with us your thoughts, concerns, and ideas.

Happy Holidays,

Ed & Teri
