Guest guest
HR BILL 2390 this bill was introduced to the house of representatives on May 17, 2007.it is called the teacher education for autistic children act of 2007 or the TEACH act of 2007/ the purpose of this bill is to increase the number of teachers and para professional teaching assistants with expertise in autism spectrum disorders by providing a refundable tax credit for qualified education expenses of such teacher and paraprofessional teaching assistants.i am assuming that this includes college tuition funds for upcoming teachers. their reason is this.the increasednumber of children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder is a growing and urgent concern for families and educators, as our education systemsstruggle to respond to the needs of this population in a comprehensive manner.children with an autism spectrum disorder who receive intensive and appropriate educational services often make very significant functional improvements.it was INTRODUCED IN 2OO7; THERE HAS BEEN NO ACTION ON THIS SINCE. please contact your state representatives and urge them to act on HR 2390.link is as followshttp://www.opencongress.org/bill/1... for more information on this bill.
