Guest guest
Greetings: I am having some difficulties dealing with my eleven year old autistic son. His name is Terrance Pannell and he attends Lee Eaton Elementary. My issue is that my son Terrance has discovered " Girls " and seems to be mesmerized by all girls either on television, school or outings. (He loves Hannah Montana) I did not think anything of it until my husband explained one day while shopping at the grocery store, Terrance saw a group of girls and immediately walked up to them and was gazing into their faces really close and this scared the girls because they did not know him and when my husband tried to pull him away he became very angry and loud and was upset because he could not be around these girls who does not even know him. He talks about having a girl friend and calling girls. He is too young for that right now. This is a new one. I am not sure how to deal with this situation and I hoping that someone reads this and recommends a behavioral doctor who would knows how to deal with this type of situation. Any consideration given would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Guest guest
Hi, -- Since he attends Lee Eaton, I'm guessing you're not too far from Twinsburg. I would contact KidsLink: 8054 Darrow Road Building D, Suite 5 & 6 Twinsburg, OH 44087 phone: 330-963-8600 They have at least two psychologists who may be able to help. They are really great there. Best of luck to you! --Suzanne > > Greetings: > > I am having some difficulties dealing with my eleven year old autistic son. > His name is Terrance Pannell and he attends Lee Eaton Elementary.
