Guest guest
Hi everyone, We are in need of a parent advocate, at this point more for advice then anything else but would like to be prepared if we reach a point of needing them for other assistance. Does anyone in the group know of a good advocate or spl ed. attorney? Our son has a threefold diagnosis, autism being part of the mix. If anyone knows of anyone and would be willing to share we would most greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help. Gloria
Guest guest
ODE provides parent advocates. I believe the one who helped me was Lyke. It was an 800 number. I will try to find it. She was most helpful with information booklets and info on the phone. I didn't need further help, but I understand they were there if I did. Carol Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Guest guest
I've used too but thru ocecd http://www.ocecd.org/ocecd/about/staff.cfm The thing about them though is its more about training you to be an advocate for your child,as they cant always attend meetings with you http://olrs.ohio.gov/ASP/HomePage.asp special_education_battlefield/?yguid=334644352 IEP_guide/?yguid=334644352 paula -------Original Message------- From: cabstg@...
