I have found that Trader Joe's is a good place to find GFCF products. My best advise is to not use a lot of substitutions, but use foods that are naturally GFCF.

Hi everyone,I have a client that is looking into starting the GFCF diet. Don't want to get into the debate of whether or not it works, just looking for some resources for her from people who have been there and done that to help her get started. Any suggestions for books or the like would be greatly appreciated :-)Thanks!MeghanNew MapQuest Local shows what's happening at your destination. Dining, Movies, Events, News more. Try it out!

The best advice I got was to start with one meal and work your way to two, three. There is a magazine, Living Without that is dedicated to people with various food restrictions. There's a healthfood store on the westside, Vital Choice. Also regular stores, Giant Eagle are starting to carry more. Hope this helps.

Heinens in Avon has a large selection, too. Their Middleburg Heights store has some but not as much.

We started out with the "Special Diets for Special Kids" books.
