The Center for Disease Control state one out of every 150 children will be born with some form of autism. This is up significantly from just over a decade ago when the prevalence rate was only one in 10,000. The Autism Society of Greater Cleveland (ASGC) is a chapter of the Autism Society of America (ASA) and provides information, coordinates services, and removes obstacles to those who live with autism. Through monthly meetings, newsletters, special events, guest speakers, and fundraisers, ASGC functions as a catalyst for change by providing parents and caregivers with the support and very latest information, so that their insight and talents are able to be used to the fullest potential.
