National Autism Association Helping Hand Program is accepting applications for financial assistance through May 15, 2009. This program is intended ONLY for parents in DIRE financial need . Do not apply for this grant if you are seeking funds for respite care, fencing, trampolines, swingsets, trips to Disney World, etc. Click on the following link for more information and the application form http://www.nationalautismassociation.org/.

PLEASE NOTE: This national Helping Hand Program is separate from NAA-NEO's 2009 Helping Hand Program, which is not accepting applications until November 2009.

United Health Care Scholarships: Grants up to $5000 are available to help pay for child critical health care services (prescriptions, medical equipment, certain services) not covered or partially covered by a parent’s health insurance plan.
