Guest guest
Re cancer http://www.whale.to/cancer.html Look up Ruth Sackman of FACT under advice groups. www.whale.to Off Topic...Needing cancer info From: " Toni " <dth@...> There are lots of knowledgeable people on this list so I'm hoping to get some help here. There is a strong history of cancer in my family. I mean STRONG. Take a look: Father's side: Father-died from pancreatic cancer at 49 (life long smoker) Grandfather-died from bone cancer at 79 Grandmother-died from lung cancer at 82 (never smoked) Aunt-died from colon cancer at 65 Mother's side: Uncle-died from lung and brain cancer (life long smoker and moderate drinker) Aunt-currently battling colon cancer (life long smoker and heavy drinker) 19 year old cousin(the above aunt's daughter)-diagnosed today with advanced Hodgkin's disease There are more cases but I'm not sure exactly who and how many after my grandparents. What I am looking for is a good book(s) on cancer prevention diets. I know an organic whole foods diet (preferably macrobiotic) is best and we are striving for that, but I'm wondering if there are any books specifically targeted to a diet to help decrease odds of cancer. There are a million books out there and my time is limited so I'd appreciate any info anyone has or any place they can direct me to limit my search time. I know there are books (cookbooks) that people have written on diets after someone has already been diagnosed with cancer. Would these be just as helpful at preventing it in the first place? I'm guessing so but just don't know where to start. I am just very concerned and I think my 19 year old cousin was really the straw that broke the camel's back on this. I really want to do much more than we already are to decrease our risks. I looked at my 16 month old and cannot imagine what my aunt is going through right now. I want to do whatever I can to help prevent this sort of thing from happening to my daughter (and us!). Sorry to be so long and post this here but this is the most knowledgeable group of people I currently know! TIA! And is there some place you can direct me for any publications of theirs (hers) I might be able to look into? Thanks in advance! Guest guest
One other thing--you should look into treating your miasms---you could have a strong genetic tendency that way from the cancer miasm, perhaps. Perhaps Phyllis could help you there E-mail Address: georgic@... I know a homeopath here (UK) who claims to cure 98% of cancers. Can't tell anyone of course as it is illegal for a homeopath to treat cancer here.
