Guest guest
Anyone know of any good specialists for gastrointestinal pathologist? In reading the following info from this link http://www.thoughtfulhouse.org/index.html We realized that our son is definately experiencing GI issues. They seem very committed at the Thoughtfulhouse however they're all the way down in Austin, TX. However if this is where we have to go, we will. But seems to me since we've got such a world reknowned hospital right here in town - Cleveland Clinic you would think there would be someone who's a specialist and works with kids on the spectrum. We've already had some very good luck with a pediatric neurologist from the Clinic. I'd be happy to provide recommendations if anyone's interested. Any help regarding recommended GI docs in the area would be greatly appreciated.
Guest guest
I have a Gi guy for myself. He is a very kind and patient and caring dr. His name is Dr. Springer... and altho my dd has not been to seen him. I can imagine she would do very well with him (she is on the spectrum). He has office at the westlake outpt clinic (part of the Clev clinic). He may see people elsewhere too... I am not sure. I have every confidence in the world in him and his gentle skills. karen his phone number is 1.440.808.1212 > > Anyone know of any good specialists for gastrointestinal pathologist? > > In reading the following info from this link > http://www.thoughtfulhouse.org/index.html > > We realized that our son is definately experiencing GI issues. Guest guest
HI. MY NAME IS KATE AND I'M NEW TO THE GROUP. HAPPY I ACTUALLY HAVE SOMETHING THAT I CAN ADD. WE HAVE A GREAT GI DOC FOR OUR 3 YO SON. HER NAME IS GISELLA CHELIMSKY AND SHE IS AFFILIATED WITH RB & C. WE SAW HER AT THE OFFICE OFF OF LANDERBROOK. MY SON HAS MAJOR SENSORY ISSUES AND WOULDN'T GET ON THE EXAM TABLE, SO SHE GOT ON THE FLOOR AND EXAMINED HIM ON THE FLOOR. I BELIEVE SHE SAID THAT 75-80% OF HER PTS. ARE ON THE SPECTRUM. ALL SHE DOES IS PEDIATRIC GI AND THEY ALSO HAVE A PHLEBOTOMY LAB WITH PEDS EXPERTS ON THE SAME FLOOR. SHE DOES THE IGG ALLERGY TESTING[ TESTS THE BLOOD, NOT SCRATCH TESTING] AND MULTIPLE TESTS ON STOOL. VERY THOUROUGH. WE REALLY LIKE HER ALOT. PHONE IS 216-844-7700. GOOD LUCK. SHE HELPED US ALOT. Guest guest
Since birth both of my kids, especially my son, had gastro problems. My son was very sick and cried & screamed all the time. She was very kind, supportive and understanding and she was really good at thinking outside the box. She even gave my son a diploma when he graduated. It's been quit a few years since we've used her so I don't have a phone number, but her name is Dr. Barbara Kaplan and when we last saw her she had an office in the Eastern suburbs of Cleveland. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need further help. Pam Vanek From: karen <rikafachwa@...>e Subject: [ ] Re: GI Docs? Date: Tuesday, February 3, 2009, 12:11 PM I have a Gi guy for myself.
