Feb. 1 is Email Oprah on Autism Day

An Internet grass roots email campaign to get the attention of TV Talk

Show producer Oprah Winfrey is geared up for tomorrow, February 1,

thanks to the parents of the Schaumburg, Illinois ASA chapter who came

up with the idea. " Lets all send Oprah a post on the same day, " exhorts

a campaign organizer, " telling her about your child (or student or

grandchild, etc) and autism. If we all do this on the same day, maybe

we'll make a big enough impact on Oprah's staff that she'll hear about

us. " Have everyone you know do this too, and lets ask Oprah to do a

show on Autism. Remind her that April is Autism Awareness Month. Maybe

she could do a show out of Washington, D.C. during the April 8th Rally

for autism! "

word out that autism is affecting as many as 1 in every 250 live births.

show about autism and how it affects your family. "
