The inaugural Columbus Walk Now for Autism event was a tremendous success. 10,000 participants raised over $582,000 launching Autism Speaks into the forefront of the autism community in Central Ohio. We are gearing up for our second year and we need your help to make 2009 our best Walk yet! Please join us for our Committee KickOff and get involved with this exciting fundraising event. Whether you have a lot of time or a little, any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated. A few helpful hints before you register: If I participated in the 2008 Walk do I need to register again this year?Yes! We do ask all 2008 team captains and walkers to register for the 2009 event so we know we can continue to count on your support. What are the registration options for the 2009? Start a Team Join a Team Join as an Individual Register Multiple People - if you are a individual, looking to join an existing team or become team captain of a new team and would like to register multiple people. After selecting this option, the next step will allow you to start/join a team. Register Family - if you would like to register several people within the same household please select “Register Family”. They will work together to collect donations from friends and family and share a personal page. After selecting this option, the next step will allow you to start/join a team. Download the 2009 Registration guide for screen shots that will walk you through the process. Can I use my 2008 username and password?YES! Your username and password are listed below. Be sure to use this link at the top of each registration form (the page that asks for your contact information): Once you log in to " Your Headquarters " you will be able to view 2008 donors to your personal page and team captains can view a 2008 team member report with team member email addresses and individual fundraising totals. What are the new features on my personal and team page?If you have been surfing the site, you will see there are enhancements to the personal and team pages.
