Guest guest
Deciding whether or not to go to college can be a difficult decision for our teens. If your child DOES decide to attend, the problem becomes choosing the "best fit". Given that an overwhelming number of students with learning disabilities never complete college, the choice of school is that much more critical. If you have an older child without learning differences attending college, you may think, "Oh, I've been through this process before." Wrong! Forget that experience; things will be much more complex with your present child. Kids with LD are at such risk that selecting a school becomes an intricate process of lengthy research, then investigation, followed by whittling down based on specific questions. The match has to be as close to perfect as possible to maximize the chances of success.
