You are Invited to Salon and Spa's 4th Annual CUT-A-THON Once Again Supporting Autism and Providing Accommodations to Children with Autism or Other Special Needs Sunday April 26th 11 AM - 6 PM Located inside Westfield’s Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted, Ohio. The National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio would like to invite you to join the staff of Salon & Spa as they host their 4th annual CUT-A-THON on Sunday April 26th, 2009. The 2008 Cut-a-thon raised over $7,000 for the National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio (NAA-NEO) & The Monarch Community Outreach Program for Autism. This year the recipients of the funds raised will be again the National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio Chapter (NAA-NEO) and Autism Speaks as another organization. Our goal this year is to raise over $8,000. In addition to haircuts for men, women & children, our team of talented stylists and technicians will also be doing polish changes for fingers and toes and eyebrow waxes. Appointments will be available on a walk-in basis only on Sunday April 26th from 11am - 6pm. The day will be packed with special pricing and activities, including a raffle to win a “Day at the Spa†and many other prizes. All proceeds from haircuts, nail services and waxes will be split evenly between the National Autism Association - Northeast Ohio (NAA-NEO) and Autism Speaks. Representatives from both organizations will be attending the Cut-a-thon and will be able to answer any specific questions. Special Accomodations for Children with Autism or Other Special Needs Haircuts can be a struggle for many children with autism or other special needs. In order to help with this problem, Salon and Spa will open one hour earlier at 10 AM for haircuts for children with autism or other special needs! This way children who benefit from a quieter environment and fewer people around could get their stylish cuts for the Spring! Please register by April 23 to ensure that there are enough stylists to assist your child and to minimize wait times. Please call Pattison from NAA-NEO at 216.544.1231 or e-mail at apattison@... to reserve your space. Also, there will be a social story available to all those who need it. Directions Salon & Spa is located inside Westfield’s Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted, Ohio. The Salon is in the Macy’s wing. Free parking is available all day in the Westfield lots.
