Doctors, lawyers, help parents seek out special education services

Some pediatricians are helping low-income parents whose children are diagnosed with learning disabilities find Legal Aid lawyers who will press for special services at the children's schools. The partnership between the doctors and lawyers began in Cleveland in 2002, but has since spread to 80 cities. The Plain Dealer (Cleveland)/Metro blog (4/27)
