This is the usual question list I am sending. It is a lot easier to reply to

all MGB request, hope this will help.

What did you think about Dr. Rutledge?

Well, I liked DR R and I think he is very informed about this procedure

and concerned about his patents. I only got to meet him two times. one was at

the first meeting, and the other at the hospital before my surgery. So I

didn't get must contact with him.

What did you think about Dr. Rutledge staff?

I didn't really have much to do with the staff either. I only encounter them

at same time as the Doctor. I was with my husband so didn't need or talk with

anyone.

What did you think about the Hospital?

I really like the hospital and the staff was very friendly they attended to

my every need. still never saw the Dr. we had to page him and have the nurses

page him to release me the next day

How was your experience with the surgery?

How much pain did you have?

I really did well with surgery and no nausea I was find and stopped the pain

med. As soon as I came around enough to know what I was doing. I figured as

soon as stopped taking med. I could go home. I didn't feel any pain. which I was

thankful for.

When did you go back to work?

I am a house wife and I was find, the first few days but my husband was being

a sweetie and wanting me to take it easy. I went walking and cleaning

normally around the house. Almost as if I didn't have the surgery.

How much weight did you lose?

Well, I had Surgery August 11, 2000 . My pre-op weight was 343 and BM 58%.

By June 6 months I had lost 100 and I have now lost total of 180 lb. oh! And

still eating the same things. Feeling great and loving it.

What size clothes did you used to wear compared to now?

I was wearing almost 5X and I just reordered new clothes for Christmas 3X and

all the clothes were to big I had to send them back I almost think I am down

to at least a med-lg which was great. Have been in 12-14 for a long time now

hold it very well, whew! Feels nice to walk into a store instead of ordering

form the catalog all the time.

Would you do it again?

I can say I would. I know that I would not ever had been able to get the

weight off by myself. Not in this short amount of time. I am very thankful. my

sister had hers done close to 3 Yrs. Ago and she was worst off then I as far as

health. And there is one thing I wish I could change and that is the hair lost.

One thing I was definitely not thrilled about.but it has grown back and

thicker. And the extra bathroom trips also. there are some things worth trading

for

loosing weight and being health. I also sense then have had a brother and two

other sisters that have had this done. and they have done great. February 21

my husband had his done. And at this point he has lost 100 also, you see I

recommend this to anyone that needs to lose for health reasons.
