Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, My son participated in SMILE summer camp last year. He had a wonderful time. There support services are outstanding. Social stories for every activity were given, The children received a camp shirt and gift bag. They received Speech and language therapy throughout the camp. The adult to child ratio was wonderful. Holly has vast experience dealing with behaviors that have been very effective with my son. I hope that helps please feel free to contact me with any questions. --- In , " vintagelovingmom " <vintagelovingmom@...> wrote: > > Good morning, > > I'm inquiring about the S.M.I.L.E. Summer Camp. Has anyone sent their child there? I spoke with a woman from there but am still not sure if it appropriate for my son. He is 12 with high functioning autism/Asperger's. Some minor behavioral problems socially. > > Thanks for any input you may have. > > Marilyn >
Guest guest
Thank you so much for your valuable input. I'm having some trouble choosing the right program for my son. The problem with most camps is there are too many kids assigned to adults who may or may not be trained. Thanks again! > > > > Good morning, > > > > I'm inquiring about the S.M.I.L.E. Summer Camp.
