Schools, monarch boarding academy

Hi to all

I am a new member and a parent of a 9 year old with autism. We have done nearly

every treatment both educationally and biomedical. We are looking into a place

such as the monarch boarding academy. We currently live in southeast missouri

and my son goes to an elementary school right now and can only attend there for

one more year. I know all about our rights and the laws and do not wish to

fight my school district for a placement that does not even exist here.

I am planning to visit your area later this summer but before doing so I wanted

to find some parents whose children have or are going to the monarch school

and/or baording academy. Also info on other schools that are similar would be

great. I did get an info packet and know how costly both are. I could barely

cover half of the boarding academy so any info on how people pay for this would

be appreciated also. It was hard to even decide to check into something like

this but I think that it could be great for my son. I would love to hear from

anyone who knows anything about this place.
