Guest guest
Hello, Forwarding you this wonderful rsource from NAA-NEO's partner Autism Services for Kids (ASK). If you are in need of great toys for your child/student, take a look at what ASK has to offer. I have seen some displayed at the Dan Zanes Benefit - outstanding ideas, combining the sensory needs and interests of our kids with simplicity, structure and adaptability! I wish I had pictures....but if you contact Kate (email: kate@...) she will be able to help you. They are also in the process of updating their website to be able to offer this service via the web. I was wondering if there is a way for us to post some new information about our services (Autism Services for Kids). We want to get the word out that we are now designing and selling teachable toys and tasks for kids on the spectrum and various developmental disabilities. We have been working with some of the school districts and would like families to know about this service as well. I know several families who wish they had more functional and teachable toys for their children, but either, don't know how to make them, where to find them, or simply, don' t have the time to get the materials together. We have found that the children who have access to the toys and tasks, have learned to be more productive with their downtime, and, have increased their generalization and maintenance skills.!!We are also providing school observation services for families who are not sure what to look for in a school setting, or, who wish to know how their child is performing within the school setting. If you have any ideas of how we may be able to get this information out to families, please let me know! I hope you are doing well and look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks again!Kate VanderploughAutism Services for Kids216.233.4231
