Hello everyone! My name is Cailey Rodgers. I am finishing up my freshman year at Kent State as a special education major. I will be returning for my

sophomore year in August, and at that time I will be moving to Kent. I

plan to live here at least until I graduate, so I am hoping to find families looking for long-term tutors. I use a bicycle for transportation (for both environmental and financial reasons) so I am looking to work in the Stow/Kent/Ravenna areas, or anywhere else within biking distance from Kent. I have quite a bit of experience working with children, especially those with autism. I went to high school in Centerville (a suburb of Dayton) where I was enrolled in an early childhood education program. I was able to student teach every day in inclusion classrooms and special education classrooms. I worked with children in preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and first grade inclusion classrooms as well as a self-contained elementary school special education classroom. I also have experience as an academic tutor for children with special needs and as an ABA tutor for children with autism. I have learned so much from

all of these experiences and I have realized that I truly love working with children with autism. This summer I will be working with two children with autism as an ABA tutor, I will be working with one child with developmental delays and ADHD as an academic tutor, and I will be working at a school district ESY program for children with with special needs. Also, If

you live in the Stow/Kent/Ravenna area and are not looking for a tutor right now, I also have experience as a babysitter for children with autism. I would be more than willing to provide care for your child(ren) on an as-needed basis. I would love the opportunity to work with your family as tutor or babysitter when I return in Augustl. Please email me at crodgers@... and I would be happy to provide you with my resume and list of references. Thank you,Cailey Rodgers
