New Member-Lake County area

Hi everyone-

My name is Tara and I just joined this group. I took my son, he'll be 4 next

month, to see a neurologist at Rainbow because I had concern over his behavior,

speech, and anxiety. The neurologist was in agreement that my son could be on

the spectrum as high functioning or pdd-nos. I was wondering if there are any

services in Lake County to help with autism? I am currently working with a

psychologist for further testing to find out where my son is on the spectrum,

but trying to jump through the insurance hoops to have it covered.

My son has echolalia speech, problems with understanding and communicating

language, some OCD, and alot of anxiety. I would really like to get him involved

in some programs to help with these issues.
