Guest guest
Anyone have Help me grow services? I'm trying to help HMG, they need our support to contact senators so that HMG can continue helping families. I remember years ago when I had HMG weekly visits. To me it was like having a friend visit every week and we'd talk. It's such a good support to have when you're going through the early years of your child. My son was so irritable and hyper I couldn't go anywhere with him because of the constant melt-downs/ crying/screaming. I felt so alone and that weekly support was my life line and was what helped me just to get through one week to the next. I get tears in my eyes and an ache in my heart just remembering those times. This is why I'm so passionate to help families in and HMG because I was there and I'll never forget what that was like. I hope we can continue to help families I'm here and will always be, I just hope HMG can remain with our help. here's info from them if you'd like to contact a senator in your area: Help me grow - needs our help to contact senators. There's budget cuts debating in the senate and theres info below on the circumstances and contact info if you will help to contact senators for help me grow. Thanks, n In a message dated 5/21/09 4:05:04 PM Eastern Daylight Time, sjiberno@... writes: Dear Colleagues: Yesterday I had the privilege to provide testimony on behalf of HMG to the Senate Finance and Education Committees at the statehouse in Columbus. I would like to share my testimony with all of you. I also want to let you know that Help Me Grow’s SFY10 funding is in jeopardy. I have been hearing various messages from advocacy groups that the Senate may entirely remove the GRF funding ($36.5 million) from the proposed SFY10 budget. This is a very critical time for HMG! It is extremely important for all of us to contact our senators NOW to let them know how important HMG services are for our children and their families. With everyone’s efforts and actions, we can make a difference! Now is the time to let our elected officials know what matters most to Ohioans. Sincerely, mmanos@...
