Guest guest
Dear Activist, In case you are too busy to go to the site www.fluoridealert.org for form letters and legislators. I have reprinted suggested form letters below: The following letter should be sent to: Senator , Chairman Senate Environment & Public Works US Senate Washington,DC 20510 and Senator Crapo,Chairman Subcommittee on Fisheries, Wildlife & Water US Senate Washington,DC 20510 if you want to send Email go to www.senate.gov for links to the senators. Representative Sensenbrenner,Chairman House Science Committee US House of Representatives Washington,DC 20515 Representative Ken Calvert,Chairman House Subcommittee on Energy & Environment US House of Representatives Washington,DC 20515 HTML1DocumentEncodingutf-8Re: Support for Congressional Hearing on Questions of Safety and Effectiveness of Fluoridation and Fluoridation Products To Committee Chairmen ,Crapo,Sensenbrenner and Calvert send the letter below: I am concerned that the EPA and representatives of the CDC now admit that there are no studies on the safety or effectiveness of the actual substances used in 90% of the nation's fluoridation programs. With a subject as controversial as this has been for the last fifty years and government agencies assuring us that adverse effects are not possible, I am disturbed to learn that they offer nothing but theory and endorsements to back up their claims. I understand you have commenced an investigation. I wish to express my appreciation and to encourage you to establish a hearing date as soon as possible to ferret out the truth. Thank you for exercising the congressional oversight needed to hold government agencies responsible for public health to account for their actions. Sincerely, ____________ Print Your Name Sample Letter #2--Ask your own U.S. Representative and Senator to support the efforts to set up Hearings on fluoridation Your U.S. Representative & Senators (click here to find out their names and email address') Re: Request an Immediate Hearing Date for U.S. House Committee on Science on Questions of Safety and Effectiveness of Fluoridation and Fluoridation Products As your constituent, I ask that you support the efforts of the Committee on Science to hold an immediate hearing on the safety and effectiveness of the substances that are being added to our public water supplies for the purpose of fluoridation. I understand that the Committee on Science has commenced an investigation. Revelations by the EPA and CDC that the actual substances used in 90% of fluoridation programs across the U.S. have never been tested, should alarm anyone who has trusted the assurances of our government agencies that fluoridation has been determined to be safe for everyone. Recent studies that show higher concentrations of aluminum delivered to the brain of laboratory animals when in combination with low levels of fluoride equal to the amounts found in fluoridated water, and the increase in danger levels of lead found in children's blood when the untested phosphate fertilizer source of fluoridation products is present, must not be ignored. I am disturbed that people are being misled all these years and I respectfully request that you do everything in your power to make sure that a date is promptly set to hear this issue in the U.S. House Committee on Science, and that the U.S. Senate do the same. It is urgent to determine if full adherence to the Safe Drinking Water Act is being faithfully upheld and that protection for the most susceptible individuals, as identified in the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1996, is fulfilled. Please stand up for our right to safe drinking water. *Special thanks to the New York State Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation for producing these letters ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
