Strongsville Recreation is offering swim lessons with Beth Lattime. She is an intervention specialist with 20 years of swim instruction experience and a Masters degree in Special Education. Each lesson will include an initial assessment of your child. Lessons will either be private or semi private (maximum 2 students) dependent upon the needs of your child or teen. Participants will be grouped based upon their behavior temperament, age, swim ability, and disability perimeters. Some of Beth’s students with disabilities have included those with hearing impairments, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, language delays and mental retardation. She believes, “Often people with disabilities are misunderstood and underestimated for talents that go unnoticed.
