Guest guest
Enterococcus strains are found in the intestines of animals and humans. They are gram-positive, facultative anaerobic cocci of the Streptococcaceae family; spherical to ovoid in shape and occur in pairs or short chains. They are also catalase-negative, non-spore forming, and usually nonmotile. Guest guest
Ha ha ha, that's exactly how I feel a lot of the time:) If you read up on why yeast is a problem it will explain the short chain fatty acid thing. I think the rest was about taking an arobics class... j/k

Guest guest
I'm confused. I thought it was classified separately in 1984? Are you saying that even though it is technically not strep it still causes the same issues or that maybe the structure is so similar it still causes the same issues? > > >I believe these contain strep strains, which can be a problem for certain kids. > > > > My box of ThreeLac says Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecalis and Bacillus coagulans. > > > Enterococcus faecalis is a strep strain. > > Dana >
Guest guest
I just got my custom probiotics autism formula in the mail yesterday! I'm so psyched! All three kids took them and didn't even know they were in the drink! Woohoo! It contains 250 billion cfu's of l.salivarius , l. rhamnosus, b. bifidum and b. infantanis no dairy, no soy, no gluten, no fos, no sugar, and no artificial colors. I don't see anything about strep lines. They give you a brochure that expalians everything in relation to autism and probiotics, so I think they'd know about the possible problems with strep and keep them out? Guest guest
Hi, I'm interested in this product but have some questions I'm hoping someone who's using it can answer: 1) Can it go in juice or does it have to be in dechlorinated water like the website says? 2) Which dosing guidelines should I use for a preteen? Thanks. From: Les <lesburleson@...> Subject: Re: behavior help Date: Thursday, April 22, 2010, 12:38 PM I just got my custom probiotics autism formula in the mail yesterday! I'm so psyched! Guest guest
Hi , They are really helpful people, so if you have specific questions. it might be best for you to call them directly. I did this myself because I wanted to see what in my sons limited food options we could mix it in. My son will not take juice, Water ONLY, so this is hard for us. We mix ours in with baby food fruit which they said was ok, but I think we've also mixed it in with water and it was fine. i just do it in the baby food because i know he gets it all in his food. Whatever you are able to mix it in with, make sure it's not warm or hot. Call them and give them ideas of what your child eats and drinks and ask them which is best to hide it in. Hope this helps! Guest guest
I just called the company and they said you can mix a little juice in the water to flavor it, but not to use anything with too much sugar. I gave it in full on grape juice this morning...oopsie I knew that was too easy. Hopefully they won't make too much fuss about the watered down juice tonight:)

Ahh. Well, bugger. At least one of my spectrum kids can take it. The other one I suspect of PANDAS so I'll avoid it for her. Thank you! I'd say one learns something new every day, but when it comes to this stuff, I swear I learn 10 new things everyday!

Guest guest
customprobiotics.com somebody on here posted about them the other day They're supposed to be spectacular. So far so good. The price looked a little intimidating at first, but when I did the math I saw that I'd actually be spending quite a bit less than I already was. Guest guest
When we used the CP powder we gave with applesauce or juice and didnt see any issues. If your using the powder form they usually send two scoops, one for adults and one for children. The stuff is pretty potent, so Id start with the small scoop and work up. If its in capsule, then 1/2 cap and work up.
