Guest guest
Hi - I started the gluten, dairy and sugar free at the beginning of the year. I cheated big-time yesterday and woke up at 3AM with my ear clogged and pressure on my face. I am not sure how to recognize if it is bc of the food???. I sort of thought it would be like drinking beer or wine - it hits me within 10 min. but I didn't have a reaction right after eating bad it was much later. So now I am wondering if it is a reaction to the food I ate 14 hours before or something else (I already have a sinus infection so it could just be normal symptoms or a variety of other things). When you have a sinus infection and almost always have pressure how do you know if it is caused by the food or not? Is the reaction right after you eat the food or much later? Guest guest
food takes longer to notice. a good way to see is to go a good few days without a certain food, say wheat, and then add it back in and see if anything changes. i notice reactions to wheat and dairy not until the next day or so and it is just more snot and sinus pressure, nothing too dramatic (like with alcohol) but when i do not eat it this does not happen as much. > > Hi - I started the gluten, dairy and sugar free at the beginning of the > year.
