I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, I came down here to London,United Kingdom with my Family for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged and robbed at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash,credit card and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our lives and passport saved .

We've been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in less than 5hrs from now but we are having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills about ($1,750).Can you help us out,Get back to immediately to let you know the easiest way to get the fund to us or How much can you help with?

We are freaked out at the moment.

This email below is from a compromised email account.

 

I had my email hacked last year while on a cruise and my account shipped out a message very similar to this (this one is a little more refined).

 

It's basically a 3-way scam with a guy on the ground in London collecting money transfers, a hacker in Mexico or Africa, and a 3rd guy to deposit the wired funds securely.

 

So don't send them money unless you can get this person on the phone.

This is a scam…I received the exact same email from a neighbor ( I live in TX, USA) last week.   Apparently her email and FB account was hacked. Yes, I logged onto Tami's FB and 'she' logged straight out. Also, I received this message of the Samtesrs list too. i can't notify Tami of course as i can only contact her via Fb and this email. She'll be very upset to discover this is being written from her email,
