Guest guest Posted January 6, 2008 Report Share Posted January 6, 2008 I am back on Prednisone again. This is the fourth time in a year. Can anybody help me with these questions?: 1. My dose is 6 tablets of 5mg a day for a week. Then tapers off by one tablet every other day. A total of 72 tablets over a 17 day period. Is this high, low or average? 2. I always put on weight quickly with Prednisone. Any tips on not putting it on or taking it off quickly. 3. Is having Prednisone every three months too frequent? By the way I am also on Singulair. And use Azmacort as a nasal spray(with a special adapter) instead of inhalation aerosol. Thanks More new features than ever. Check out the new AOL Mail!
