Guest guest
Rogene, what would you think of Agave syrup in this case? I find it very sweet and not sticky like honey and use just a bit to sweeten tea. I hear it is low on the glycemic index, so maybe it would be good for those avoiding sugar? I get it at natural food stores, but it could be ordered online I am sure. > > > A little RAW honey should be OK unless you have a raging Fungal problem . . . Guest guest
, I'll defer to Lynda on Agave syrup. I've never heard of it! Personally, I've come to the point that I don't have any desire for sweet drinks . . . I think tea tastes wonderful without sweetners. Guest guest
My 14-year old daughter uses agave syrup and stevia on anything she wants sweetened. She likes them both. I'm with Rogene, I don't care much for sweet things any more either. Ice cream was always my favorite cheat. I ate it a few weeks ago and didn't even like it any more. It was a disappointment when I ate it because it didn't taste good. Haven't had it since. Kenda > , > > I'll defer to Lynda on Agave syrup. Guest guest
Yes, Splenda is poison - it's the latest version of saccharine or aspartame. > >> I just called my doctor and left a message > >> Asking her to please give me a 21 day prescription for Diflucan > >> > >> Maybe this will be my lucky day as my doctor said no the last time > >> > >> I cannot go on like this, day..after.. .day.. just barely functioning > >> > >> Makers Diet - Please give me some ideas for starters > >> > >> My urine color is pale lime > >> Mean anything ? > >> > >> What can I take to help me move my bowels > >> I do not think I can do the coffee enema thing > >> Any suggestions? > >> > >> > >> > >> Donna did you lose all of your weight and how > >> > >> long did it take you before you felt some relief ? > >> > >> What else was on your get well list ? > >> > >> QualityMulti Vitamin > >> MethlCobalamin > >> Vitamin B-12 > >> Multivitamin > >> Magnesium > >> Diflucan > >> Detoxing > >> Probiotic > >> > >> Sandy~ > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __ > >>
Guest guest
Kenda, that is amazing you have your teenage daughter so aware of healthy sweeteners - how did you get her so receptive to that? I think it is fabulous she is so young but heading your advice. I never have had a sweet tooth - I just was experimenting with raw recipes that called for Agave and will sometimes use it - sparingly. -- In , Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: > > My 14-year old daughter uses agave syrup and stevia on anything she wants > sweetened. Guest guest
My daughter very much takes after me. She very rarely eats sweets and only eats healthy foods. I think it started with her wanting to be like me and has developed into her way of life. She is also a celiac so she is always reading labels. My 17-year old son, on the other hand, is much like his father. Fast food, fast food, fast food. :( My son is very thin, his father is not. One day it will catch up to him in gained weight and possibly lost health. Maybe then my voice will run through his head. Guest guest
Agave nectar is a very good substitute, even better than xylitol. Guest guest
Me too, I never sweeten tea. Lynda At 09:10 AM 12/16/2006, you wrote: >, > >I'll defer to Lynda on Agave syrup. Guest guest
Sandy ~ So, you mean to tell me that the fall caused arthritis in your foot? Please call them back and ask them about these in particular: In the position of the lumps on my arm or in my toes, are there any fractures? The rod in my foot, is it in the correct position? and free of breakage? I would almost call the doc that did the bunyon surgery and tell him of your problem and see if he will look at the xrays. When I worked in pediatrics we had a little girl that fell and broke her arm. There were no bruises or swelling, she only had pain. Her parents didnt believe her, she went 2 weeks with no treatment. When xrayed, it indeed was fractured ! ! If you feel you may have a fracture, press for them to xray. you never know....... Trust your gut intuition ! ! It is usually always right ! ! You want to get them to mail you copies of all your lab work and xrays that have been done, so you have them in your hands and can read for your own eyes. Also, tests are only as good as the person that read it and wrote the report. Wishing you a painfree day ! Love Dede See what's free at AOL.com.
