Guest guest
I gotta tell you since that little ditty on grapeseed oil was put out, I bought some and told you all how I loved it, since then I have bought about 4 more bottles and use it in everything and even on my hair and skin. I used it to sunbathe too. I love it as salad dressing, and it is less expensive than xtra virgin coconut oil, in which I have been using for yrs. It is also good when mixed with olive oil for salad dressing. So thanks to you and this group, I have been inspired by an amazing oil! Guest guest
sure! I know that everything we do, all the little things and big things we do for our bodies, bad things, can attribute to disease. It doesnt just take one thing to trigger and ailment, this is what I mean. In my case I am 47 yrs old, so I am at the premenopausal state, and this yr I took a work out course with " curves " . I put myself on a diet with a trainer, and she taught me alot about good carbs and bad carbs, sugars and all that causes over weight problems, since then I lost 11 lbs and inches..I excercise 4-5 times a week, and dance a whole lot.. Just wanted to summerize first before going into grapeseed oil. In june I read from this group about grapeseed oil to use in place of regular oil, I have used grapeseed oil before only on my skin occasionally, and hair. So now I use it for stir frying, omelets, eggs, and anything that I would need to fry with, and of course salad dressing. Grapeseed oil if I am not mistaken has an antioxidant ingredient that helps prevent skin damage, and of course then would help repair your stomach and skin, scalp as well. I put it into my scalp and I have long hair, so it helps repair the ends and then I shower it off with my regular shampoo. I sunbathe in summer and spring here in Southern oregon, I make a mixture of grapeseed oil, coconut oil, sesame seed oil, and olive oil, it makes a great suntan oil, I put it in the fridge it solidfies too and is cold to the skin, nice...but here I am saying that I have a mole on my leg, and after using this grapeseed oil which mostly I have just used plainly on my skin recently, the mole is getting smaller. I am amazed, b/s it has gotten larger as I age, and now its shrinking. I havent used sun screen since 1998, when I heard that it isnt all that cracked up to be, and I lived in south Florida at the time for 12 yrs, and love to sunbathe and swim ect..all that fun stuff. So yeah, grapeseed oil to me is my newest discovery, the taste is great, and it's a beautiful green, thick, and is perfect for stir frying and frying fish too, as coconut oil is great too, however it leaves everything tasting like coconut. Which can be great on plantains, and shrimp, sure, some things you would love to have it taste a bit like coconut, and also grapeseed oil is right on the pocket book, its affordable. I started using grapeseed oil in June, so it is now 4 months that I am seeing results. I know this has helped me loose weight too, I use it all the time. Thanks Joyce for letting express my experience.. Blessings, you are doing a great job! Love the group, I am learning alot " ) Michele --- Joyce Hudson <bjoyful@...> wrote: > Hi Michele! :-) Can you tell us, how it has > helped, and how long until you noticed some results? > I have reservatrol tablets. Guest guest
, that was an excellent commentary! Thank you so much! You have me hooked. :-) I am going to start using it too. I, too, have some moles, I am not happy with. Also, am starting to get dry skin, and soon I will soon be 58. I am even going to switch the canola oil that my Dad likes to grapeseed oil. Dad is stubborn but he is really Spiritually growing and has been listening to me more. Personally, I normally use bacon grease, olive oil, or coconut oil for cooking. Yeah, I said bacon grease. :-) Believe it or not bacon grease has a lot of the good fats that our bodies really need, and it tastes great with some foods! Guest guest
yes, ingesting the grapeseed oil and putting it on your skin will definately help with dry skin. My husband has dry skin too, and he uses it often then showers it off too. I have put it on my skin and hair, then get into a hot bath, with himalayan sea salt and lavendar and bathed and when I get out, wow so soft my skin is and my hair too. Ingesting oil is really good for your skin and keeps you regular too. I have given up bacon for a few yrs now, but yeah I heard of using the bacon grease, the only thing that would give me some caution is that the bacon itself has sodium nitrates in it which are harmful when ingested too much. Like lox, hot dogs, sausage, and meat that is cured, be careful not to indulge, though now oscar meyer puts out none sodium nitrate meats, I bought it for my son, it was bacon, as far as the taste went he didnt complain. Probably didnt notice the difference. People can be very stubborn, set in their ways, but it only takes something like getting sick to realize that its time to clean up your act. Too bad it has to come to that though, we have to suffer at little bit to see the light.. Sure thanks again, Michele --- Joyce Hudson <bjoyful@...> wrote: > , that was an excellent commentary!
