Guest guest
I have been trying to read the past emails, will try to answer or recommend sites. There are many things we can do to help ourselves if we have arthritis. For Arthritis: 1. As you know our bodies are comprised mostly of water. When we perspire and urinate, we lose our body's water. This should be replaced with water and nothing else. It is recommended to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. So if you want to drink sodas, coffee, juice, milk, tea, whatever, these beverages are extra. It's what I try to do, and has helped me in many ways. It helps remove toxins from our bodies. 2. Avoid sugar! Yeah, I have a sweet tooth. But over the years, as I have tried to treat my body better, that sweet tooth is shrinking. Processed sugar is actually toxic. If I need to use sugar, I use raw sugar, Turbinado. It still has it's minerals and vitamins intact. Sugar is especially bad for those people with arthritis and rheumatism. 3. Take epsom salts baths. I use 2 cups of epsom salts (it's really magnesium sulfate) in the hottest bath water I can stand. Not hot enough to make me feel faint, though. I also, add 10 drops of lavender oil. The body needs magnesium to work properly. Lavender is very soothing and is an antiseptic. Soak in it for 20 minutes and make sure your entire body gets wet. More later.
