Just want to introduce myself

I am glad that I found this board, I have been lurking off and on for

a while now.

A little about me, I was diagnosed with Samter's Triad in October

this year, since then I have started weekly allergy shots, and I have

had sinus surgery to remove nasal polyps and to straighten my septum.

I had a test done for Ige and I am going to start Xolair shots on

Wednesday. I also have GERD. I was going to a Pulmonary doctor

faithfully for years and none of these issues came to light, until I

almost died *literally*. I took me 10 days on the vent and a chest

tube to realize that my asthma was out of control. So I dumped my Doc

and went to *The Asthma Center* best decision I ever made.

I currently take:

prednisone 10mg daily

advair 500/50

abuterol (both)

singulair

allegra

protonix (GERD)

allergy shots

Xolair * begining 12/20/06*

I am glad that I am not in this boat alone. I've actually found

people who actually know what the heck I'm talking about. People with

my same condition that I can talk to. Thank God.

I have tons of questions, but i'll do some searches and see what I

can find on my own.
