Guest guest
This is my first comment, but I've been reading for a while. I have had multiple polyps surgeries, get allergy shots, have asthma under control, but have no SOS. I also happen to be a registered dietitian, and several years ago figured out with the help of a colleague, that the food sensitivities I described where all high in salicylates, (toothpaste, gum, mints, licorice, spinach, red wine- specifically) -- I avoid these foods and have for some time. I have noticed with the addition of Singular, even if I have a food high in Salicylates I won't get immediate symptoms (asthma, histamine reaction), but have no idea if it affects the growth of polyps, since that happens slowly over time. If you go through aspirin desens I wonder if that would also help with the food allergies (or other salicylate compounds). Anyone with this experience? Like many of us, I would love to get my SOS/taste back, I am going to try getting more strict with the salicylate diet, and am considering asprin desens.
