Guest guest
a and others. Regarding your post concerning the disappearance of hormones, I assume you are speaking of the female hormones. First question is whether you have ever been tested for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. This condition, in itself, and without CFIDS can cause enormous fatigue. And if you have not, you may want to consult with an endocrinologist. However, not all endocrinologist are familiar with this autoimmune disorder, baffling since it is so common. If you decide to set up an appointment, do ask in advance if this condition is a common treatment in that particular practice. This is a disorder in which one develops antibodies against the thyroid which can then destroy other hormones. This, personally was one of several symptoms I had at the onset of CFIDS. Estrogen, progesterone and then testosterone simply just disappeared during the third decade of my life. It was not until 2 years later that I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. During that interim, anitbodies completely destroyed my bodies ability to normally excrete or utilize any of the " sex " hormones and of course thyroid. Essentially, this was an autoimmune induced premature menopause. Later I learned from another physician that a female physician in the San Francisco Bay area had done years of research on what she called, " Autoimmune Endocrinopathies, " basically research on hormones wiped out by the intrinsics of abnormal antibodies. She unfortunately passed away from cancer before her research was completed. Some of her early research was published. With the help of 2 physicians and months of contacting major medical libraries, without success, we could only assume she had published her works under a comrade's name. We never found her publications. My endocrinologist continues to practice by this theory in that viral activity can and does create autoimmune antibodies against several hormones and organs. And to Patti Skari, thank you for posting your experience with ovarian antibodies. Would you mind posting what this disorder is called? Although frustrating, try not to take to heart the medical ignorance of this disorder, as it does appear to be rare and novel. I have found that with each year, physicians become more and more specialized, for better and hopefully not for worse. Good luck to all and best regards. Hi , Thanks for your wonderful summary. I was fortunate when I developed thyroid problems 12 yrs ago that I was diagnosed right away. I had antibodies to my thyroid at that time. I was told then that I was a likely candidate to develop adult onset diabetes and other autoimmune disorders. But for those 12 yrs my thyroid condition was easily controled with a proper dose of synthroid. When I came down with CFIDS my TSH levels dropped and dropped. So they lowered my snythroid. Of course, it was later determined that my thyroid was not getting better but I was no longer able to convert synthroid which is T4 to the useable free T3. I now have my free T3 levels tested along with TSH and T4. My experience has been that the endocrinologists know about Hashimotos but not this strange additional problem related to CFIDS. Now as to which hormones have been affected - seems like all of mine - not just sex hormones. I have been tested low in thyroid, as mentioned, low in DHEA, low in testosterone, and my human growth hormone is non-existent. This in spite of the fact that I am mostly recovered from the worst of CFIDS. Looks like once the endocrine system is whacked it does not recover - but who knows. Hope this is helpful. a
Guest guest
Dear , The damage in autoimmune diseases is caused by the macrophages attacking good tissue in order to get photons from them. Aloe vera can supply photons directly, because its long chain sugars are able to hold them. Ozone cannot supply photons directly, but the body makes photons from the oxygen free radicals, so it is probable that this indirect mechanism provides the necessary photon. We think that the requirement for photons eventually gets filled, so that the cure becomes permanent (more or less). Best of Health! Guest guest
Dear Saul, From what you have seen for autoimmune diseases, * How much aloe vera each day? * What type (Does Sherri still have the aloe vera??) ? * For how long do people take it before noticing positive difference and/ or a cure ? Guest guest
Dear Jack, The information on the photon-hungry macrophages came from the research director of Carrington Labs in a talk he gave in Vancouver in 1995. I have not seen it in print anywhere. He was explaining what his research had discovered about aloe vera and the ability of its very long chain sugars to trap and hold a photon, and then release it into the body. He said this was the key to satisfying the macrophage's needs, and explained aloe's ability to cure any autoimmune disease. The information on the body's ability to create photons from oxygen free radicals (ozone) comes from an article that is included in my book " The Story of Ozone " about the necessity of getting free radicals into the body, so they can be used as the building blocks for creating photons, and thus increasing the light in the body. Whether the instruments you mention do that, I do not know. But if you wish to bring photons directly into the body, there is a free source. It is called the sun. Best of Health! Guest guest
Does Dr Cayce have any info on autoimmune diseases? I've been working with an MD with strange symptoms and the MD keeps telling me that my bloodwork (the basics) looks good and doesnt show anything! I know 'me' and know that there is something wrong. Thanks
Guest guest
I have been looking for this too.. I have some serious auto immune diseases going on. PS your bloodwork wont show something if it isnt tested for specifically. You have to have an idea of what to test or test for. Hope you do better soon. From: Wyndstar <wyndstar81@...> Sent: Sunday, August 28, 2011 1:32 PMSubject: autoimmune diseases Does Dr Cayce have any info on autoimmune diseases? Guest guest
Apart from the Cayce remedies, a good supplemental treatment for autoimmune diseases is Low Dose Naltrexone.
