Guest guest
Hi , interesting reading. I too am on flixonase and have been coughing up a bit of blood in the morning. Currently on the asprin free diet....what a nightmare. Have had to come off singulair due to side affects. have lots of polys apparently and pansinusitis etc. Referred to ENT surgeon in May but GP thinks they may not remove them as they will return again. I live in UK and no one seems to talk about desensization so far at least. Hated prednisolone and dont want it again. On inhalers for the asthma (when I remember) Where you you live? I told him I had two surgeries previously, the last 20 years ago. He was surprised when he examined me at the poylp size because he couldn't detect any blokage frtom my voice. He said I was one of the lucky ones not to get sinus infections, which are a messy business. > > I hate being on prenisalone, but he said medical intervention is advisable, but did not seem an advocate for surgery. I know the polyps will be back for too long. Not sure what the point is. > > Still worried about his query, but taking predinisalone. Guest guest
Hi Helen Thanks for letting me know about your experience. Living in Central London. Apart from during Predinisalone course, the only other significant boost to my Asthma reading was after taking a course of Antibiotics, when the reading shot up, and then descended slowly over 6 weeks. Asthma readings has improved since December, but not really sure why. However, have been taking prebiotic tablets to assist with a digestive problem. Always used to find that if I went away from the cold UK winter for a warm break, during the Spring I would get my sense of smell back, and it would feel like the polyps would retreat for a period of 1 month or so. Unfortunately haven't been able to get away like I used to for some time. Good luck to you > > > > Been taking Flixonase spray recently for 3 weeks, as have been waking up with occasional dry mouth.
