Guest guest
American Physiological Society (2010, August 27). Macrophages: The 'defense' cells that help throughout the body. ScienceDaily. Retrieved May 17, 2011, from http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/08/100826141232.htm ..Several recent sources seem to suggest there may be many newer approaches to controlling inflammation. Macrophages can be related to fibrosis and scar formation in response to bacterial and non bacterial invaders(ie drugs, injury etc.),"excessive healing". After engulfing seven neutrophils and being informed by substances indicating tissue healing the macrophage transitions it's role, can leave the tissue and promote the immune system's return to routine The researchers could naturally complete and terminate the inflammatory processes by injecting these substances..
