Guest guest
So I am getting better at irrigation, but I still am concerned about the nostril that is blocked! I definitely can get stuff through there with the adaptor. But today when I was doing that my ears were popping and it seemed the fluid may have been getting forced up around my ears, like when you are on an airplane. Now my cheek on that side and the ear really hurt like I am developing an infection. Am I being paranoid or should stop irrigating on this side until I can get the nostril perhaps to open with the steroids? I am going on a plane trip in a couple of weeks and I'm really worried, I don't want to have an ear or sinus infection at the time. I'm thinking of asking my doctor if I can have a burst of steroids for this trip. I have never done that before for a " lifestyle " issue and I really hate the prednisone in general, but I'm presenting a paper at a conference and I don't want my trip to be ruined by a horrible mess of sinuses.
