Polyps/Aspirin Desens/Budesonide

Saw the ENT this week. He said I have more polyps on the left side growing.

Since I de-sens'd 8/12/11 I do have more 'open' passages than before so I did

not take his news so well. Hmmmm.

He was not so interested in the Naso-Neb ?'s I had and pushed it off on my

Allergist. =/ He was not going to offer much other than possibility of surgery.

I asked for the budesonide so I can rinse with that.

He agreed to one month daily rinses then switching to every other day for 2

weeks until I see him in early Dec.

I then saw my Allergist yesterday for week 3 of RUSH Immunotherapy (going well

except for local reaction at site of injections, normal red/white hive that goes

away by next day)

She suggested I up my aspirin regimen for one month. She wants me to take 650 mg

3 times a day. She warned to watch for 'the signs' and to stop the 3rd dose if I

get any of them. (extreme bruising/ulcer/ringing in the ears) It is her hope

that I will get the polyps down and possibly some SOS with the budesonide rinses

w/saline and increased aspirin. She said there is a chance I may end up having

surgery to start with a 'clean slate'.

I am not sure how I feel about that. Surgery. ugh. =/
