I though they would stop the bugs. I think they did keep a lot out!! I have a very large garden, it keeps me busy from March-october. I am taking a break now. I got to get busy with hulling the sunflowers and baking the squashes and pumpkins. It's not easy. I found that the mexican cucumber beetle loves them, but they dont do much damage to them like they do with other vegies. I have an organic garden, so I dont spray. I go out before sunset and pick off by hand the beetles. Lots of fun!
