Skunk burner: at 500mg you are almost certainly already desensitized.

Going up to 1,300mg is meant to realize the full benefits in terms of

reduced symptoms. My own experience was positive in this regard,

although I did find that the symptoms crept back to some extent.

(I have since given up desensitization due to concerns about internal

bleeding, especially at my age. I am able to maintain some sense of smell

with irrigation and nasal steroids.)

Thanks I hit 750mg today with not even a blip, felt nothing although I can still feel some animals living in my sinuses. I am off to see a new ent doctor this week so i will try to get some beclomethasone drops which helps clear out gunk or just settle for the regular crap, nasonex. Tomorrow I will try 1000mg.
