Guest guest
This is definitely one for your doctor to answer, . Yes, it is possible that it is the methotrexate, but your physician is going to have to decide what is going on and what to do. You're giving me another opportunity to urge you to get a baseline chest x-ray! Sorry that you aren't feeling well. Hope you are better very soon. > Hi group > > I am coming down with a cough. Guest guest
Hi I was told that a dry, unproductive cough could be a sign of a problem with MTX by my doctor. I guess I am at four months with the stuff now and I have not had any coughing yet. I called both my dr's today about my vision problems and they never called back. They tell you call immediately if you have any symptoms and then they call you back days later, if ever. Hope you are felling OK > Hi group > > I am coming down with a cough. Guest guest
I heard back from her yesterday afternoon and was unable to post at the time. She told me to stop the MTX until I feel better, and if I run a fever or start coughing up stuff to go to my PCP asap. Still coughing, but feel a little better today. must have some kinda a bug. Got " 9 " hours of sleep last night!! That's unheard of. perhaps there is some truth to this FMS stuff. I really did not want to believe it was true. I was hoping that it was just the RA. I didn't want to have FMS too. It is so discouraging. I just want to be well again. I am having a real hard time with acceptance I guess. > > Hi group > > > > I am coming down with a cough. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks, yes, I do feel a little better today. I think some much needed rest did me some good. I hope your DR calls you today. I am very impatient, I would be calling every 1/2 an hour until they finally let me talk to him/her. Guess I have some more step work to do. Dam! > > Hi group > > > > I am coming down with a cough. Guest guest
Stop that Cough Tea 1 tablespoon Slippery Elm 1 tablespoon Mullein 1 tablespoon Catnip 1 tablespoon Licorice root bark Boil the bark first in two cups worth of water for 10 mintues. Place the rest of the herbs in a coffee filter and place the filter in a strainer. Strain the Licorice tea through the strainer into a mug and drink. Honey and lemon can be added. Guest guest
Thank you, Suzi! I don’t have a sore throat, but will make one of the cough syrup recipes. Sharyn
Guest guest
I’ve got a whole tree full of Meyer lemons, Suzi. Can I use them in place of regular lemons? (Not that it’s a problem to use regular lemons…just want to use the ripe ones on the tree.) Sharyn From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Suzanne Honey and lemon soothe a cough no matter if sore or not. You're welcome
