Guest guest
I have the same problem and feel the same way. The neurosurgeon is ready to operate but I am not. My feet and legs go numb. This is a little better since I started taking the generic for neurontin. It helps me a lot.Yes, I am having more trouble reaching my back. I have noticed that I can no longer reach to put the tags in on my blouses and swimsuits.Wishing you less pain always, Joan Hi Everyone... I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in 2006, the surgeon said it was moderate. So I went last week to get another MRI since it has been five years to see what the progression of this is.. I am now at Severe Lumbar Spinal Stenosis ... Oh great I said so is that why my leg goes numb .. she said I needed to see an orthopedic surgeon ... Oh ok I said so here we go ... Off to see another surgeon. I will not let them do surgery on my back, I feel that once they mess with your spine you have more problems, I would rather just deal with this pain. I have a few questions though and hopefully someone can answer this for me.. 1. I am not able to work cause I can not stand for long periods of time ... and sitting too my legs go numb so It is always a battle. I am almost 50 and want to know if anyone with this has applied for Social Security Disability. If so what do I do ... 2. Onto a personal question .. with this spinal stenosis does anyone have trouble reaching behind to there back? For some reason my arm will not go any further than a certain point and the pain increases and I have to stop. 3. How do we find out if there are any local groups in our area for support if we need to just talk? Thank you all in advance ... and I hope that the pain we feel today will be less tomorrow ...
