Guest guest
Hi ! Yes it is fibromyalgia..I know sometimes those with RA get FMS too. I got mine in reverse order..have had FMS since I was 30 and am now 36 with inflammatory issues going on. Symptoms can overlap at times so its all so confusing. RA can seem to give me flu type symptoms when I have a flare since it messes up the immune systems too. I sooo hate that sharp stabbing pain!! I'd rather have just constant pain in a joint than the sharp stabbing kind that feels like it can take a breath away! I wonder if it does it again if one of those wrist bands that cover the hand to support the wrist would work for you..I so hope that kind of pain stays away from you:) From: <wendymp@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Aches and pains Date: Wednesday, July 30, 2008, 2:31 PM Hi ! Thanks for replying. I don't know if I have FMS. Is that fibromyalgia? I was just diagnosed with ra last month and up until the other day had constant pain in my wrists. It felt like an ice pick was jamming through there. In varying degrees though. lol wendy > > From: <wendymp@... > > Subject: [ ] Aches and pains > @gro ups.com > Date: Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 10:10 PM > > > > > > > Greetings all! Guest guest
Thanks ! I have some of those splints. I think I will dig them out. As far as having FMS I have an appt. with my rh dr Sept 1. I will ask him then unless it continues and then I think I will give him a call. Be well :-) > Yes it is fibromyalgia..I know sometimes those with RA get FMS too.
