She not only saves it for me, but other well-meaning folks who may not agree with her postings. Apparently she claims she is gone, but I doubt it as in her last post she has suggested that since " Some of us here still post good info I wouldn't want to miss. " She will still be with us reading her own posts and no doubt flaming anyone who may have the occasion to disagree with her opinion. Most of the rest of the folks here are open to anything that may help us with our quality of life, we seem to get by just fine without mother satya preaching at us and constantly pointing out all the things in our lives she perceives to be wrong. You can play innocent all day long till the cows come home...but in your own words you lie, and when you get caught you say your sorry to those whom you seem to like. This is not a middle class disease cured with crystals and white lights for most people suffering from this disease. All I have done is ask for some qualification for your protocol, and all I received is venom, for daring to ask. Get real and enjoy Jovo. Actually I have been a member there much longer than you. Peg A or Peg B. It's all Poison to me. Satya Yes, I would say that most people are contraindicated for tx. It's POISON! Satya you don't discuss ideas, you spew venom. fuck you --get it yet? distorted, pathetic, angry liver, fuck.... My point is your the one who's now angry, as someone has made you the fool. You can attack me all day long, but it will not change the obvious. I believe your hcv has lead to obsessive internal focus. This focus usually manifests itself as the individuals involved fleeing the indifferent outside world. My read is that the culture of alternative groups is often to provide a little world of their own where they can support each others misery. In other words suggesting your fine and everyone else is fucked is not a great way to get through the day. Why do you keep answering these posts? If your angry as you feel my conduct is not helpful to those impacted with this disease, then I have a job for you. Lots of travel, hours of endless meetings, hours of research and policy development, speeches to groups who can't wait for the open bar to open, spending time with those who's loved ones are dying and all this with a great compensation package. $0.00. Think about this as this is the real world. When some is presented with a diagnosis of HCV it brings shock, confusion and indecision to those who learn of it, and may have suspected nothing. Questions abound. Should I accept treatment if it is offered? Should I wait? What are the consequences of treating now or waiting? Should I just try to live with it? What might be the results or consequences of either decision? Can I pass this on to my wife or husband, children, or family? If so, how and how may I reduce the risks of it? What is the probable outcome for me and/or my loved ones? Can the disease be cured? Can liver damage be repaired or reversed? Can symptoms be relieved? What are the treatments like? Are there side effects? Are the side effect risks worth possible benefits? Who is likely to benefit from treatment? Who may be harmed by treatments? What are my treatment options? Should I use alternative or complimentary treatments, and if so, along with standard treatments or in place of them? Where can I go for reliable information? These are real questions. Thousands face this dilemma each day. They need help. You know what they don't need and so do I. Please let's move on and actually assist people with hcv. Looking at it from the outside, it seems that you both (Andy and Satya) have the same ultimate goal of helping people and I really believe you are both very sincere about it. But the history behind the messages that have been flying back and forth lately is very real and difficult to forget. Maybe it is best if you take a break from each other, chasing people away from this website is certainly not your goal. We also have to face the fact that there are relationships that are not " fixable " . I could sit with Jeanine London drinking tea for a year and still would not believe she has a " positive intent " , so I am not interested in " fixing " that relationship. Maybe it's the same for you. Personally, I think I have learned from both of you, certainly you have different points of view and that is what I need, this is what any support website needs. Hopefully people can feel free to post pro or con on alt/med or mainstream, without someone making everything a personal issue. We are basically discussing ideas not personalities and just because someone tries something they not need be in fear of having their personal choice ridiculed by those who would describe things as poison and so on. Personally I use a few alt/med products as well as prescribed medications for the treatment of my HCV. I'm not a doc so cannot make a qualified diagnosis, and therefore would never recommend one treatment over another. For those of us over 40 years of age with serious liver damage, I would support one's personal choice to use IFN products, as there may be few other options available. The same goes for those of a younger age with less severe damage who use Zang's or Emmons treatments. This is the real world, and some people just don't like each other, for whatever reasons. Andy, unfortunately, has a socially unacceptable way of expressing this. In my case, I would have had no reason to dislike Andy except that he began, unprovoked, to respond to every one of my posts with flaming and abuse. He somehow, as a few have pointed out to me in private correspondence, has become obsessed with me, not unlike a stalker. He just recently posted a compilation of the frustrating snippets/posts (which he has SAVED, as he has probably ALL my posts) I wrote in response to his spewing venom at me, and my desperate responses written to try to get him off my back. (how would YOU like to be a victim of such consistent abuse?) I've been written privately already by many members of this group who see Andy for who he really is--a disturbed human being.-, one obviously obsessed. I don't welcome or want or need this negative attention, and it seems that no one is able to stop this onslaught. I don't need to expose myself to this abuse any more. And I refuse to. This has nothing to do with a history of posts flying back and forth. It is a simple case of obsession. I have only responded to Andy in defense of myself--never to address him first--EVER. As I have posted before, I have the very same opinion of how to treat hep c as Karolyn and others here who believe in alternative treatments, but Andy only responds to flame ME. This obsession is unhealthy, abusive, and most probably indicative of mental illness---and if it weren't being done on the internet, it would be ILLEGAL and would constitute STALKING--I have never flamed Andy when he's posted articles or opinions, unless they happened to be opinions of ME, which are always derogatory and just plain lies. I don't have to defend my character--everyone knows me here. Isn't it funny that Andy (and his aliases) are the only ones who have such a terrible opinion of me? So for that reason, please don't fantasize about some reconciliation concerning Andy and I . I'm not interested. More than that, I would be frightened to meet someone so negatively obsessed with me ....The bottom line is: I should have the right to post here without ridicule whether or not I get along with the resident nut. But there is no moderator to prevent the misuse of the group. So as I have said, I am done posting here--I will be posting at jovo. I will still read all the info posts here, because the info is good. It's just the social interaction I will avoid, because it is counterproductive to my healing to stick around and be consistently harassed by someone who has singled me out for his own sick satisfaction. I hope you all understand. Please don't take my leaving any other way. I love the rest of you, and will keep up by reading some of your posts from the website, and possibly write some of you all privately, as I have welcomed all of you to write me off-list. I trust Karolyn to post to the newbies and give them the exact same advice as I would give them (but Karolyn of course will not be attacked, so the group will not have to put up with a big disruption), so I'm not worried about the alternative view not being presented. This just goes to prove that Andy has just singled me out to get off in some sick way. He doesn't harass others here presenting the same views as myself.......Possibly you are not here every day, Michele, because if you were, you'd understand why I just can't stick around and be abused continuously. My disease seems to be mild, so I can get away with alternatives only, at this time. All I have ever suggested is that everyone do their homework, become informed, and choose the treatment that feels right in their soul. I have ALWAYS stated that I respect everyone's personal choice of treatment, and EVERYONE here knows it. Personally, for me, if they came up with a safe form of treatment that would provide a definite cure, I would jump on it, whether or not it came from the traditional western medical establishment. But the current treatment, in my opinion, can be extremely harmful to some, and this is a view espoused by Karolyn and others here on this list who use alternatives. Blessings, Michele! This is from the non-ficticious Bob Kaufman in contrast to Satya and sunflowerii belief in my ficticiousness. I still don't get Satya's beef...in her own words (paraphrased) everyone has a right (first amendment I believe) to use any words they like when calling things as they see them. And yes, a person can own a home and also get food stamps, at least here in MA. They count the cost of my alternative meds as an out-of-pocket medical expense, which brings my income under the poverty level, so I get assistence to buy food. Our business has been closed since January because we are renovating a new, better space across the street. It is now almost completed and we will re-open by Nov. Just clearing up the lies. All the sharing and discussions, on the group was positive. We learned a lot! And I have a lot of work to do, going through the information and adding it to the files! Art, remember to find a new doctor or cancer hospital today. Do look into Nancie's suggestion on "Cancer Center of America". We are all pulling for you. Basically the health issues are from your body being out of balance such as with the High Blood Pressure, Constipation, Depression, and other ailments. Remember to drink at least 64 ounces of water a day, and with Sutent, you need to drink even more, to help flush the toxins from the body. Remember, we are 90 percent water. The water will also help with the constipation. But make sure you urinate so that the body does not build up with fluids. Be sure to tell your new doctor all of your symptoms! Remember to stay positive and do not dwell on your poor health. Think positive thoughts, such as; "The kidney cancer is healing, and the other ailments will be leaving soon." Prayers and healing are coming your way. :-) I wish to welcome the new members again. We had several to join last night. For the new members, this site is about sharing and helping ourselves and others to heal. So join in or just read, it's whatever you want to do. :-) Remember to laugh everyone!
