Periodontal disease and Resolvins

Dr.Desrosiers (my E.N.T.)told me to look at some of the research in periodontal disease as some of it applies or relates to chronic rhinosinusitis.Resolvins are produced from DHA,EPA (long chain omega-3 fatty acids),aspirin and I don't know what else and are probably one way omega-3 is beneficial(re;inflammation whether from arthritis,sinusitis,periodontitis etc.).
