Thanks for testing this possibility. I was wondering if the group shouldn't apply to the government for some kind of research grant for all of the testing, product and solution evaluation that we've conducted and the medical knowledge that we've generated. Billions of research dollars are being given away regularly and none of it is targeted at Samters, maybe we could get just a couple million to continue our research. (Humor)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to make you all aware that I am now taking OPC’s which I believe Greg(sorry if I have the name wrong) mentioned about 4 weeks back. If you have been part of this group as long as I have, you know that I am a big natural healing advocate and if someone suggests that something has worked for them, I do feel that it should be examined and tested. I also believe that trying some for the cost of $50 a bottle is very inexpensive compared to some of the modern medications out there that doctors seem to happy to push at you. Anyway, I first started to take it on Mar 18, only last week. Please let me remind everyone, I have not been able to smell anything at all for the past 10-12 years(with the exception of a handful of times). Prednisone does not even give me the pleasure of a few smells anymore!

Anyway………..guess what!!! On Oct 20, I walked out my front door and I could smell the fall air! That’s right! I forgot that the fall had a smell! I could also smell coffee and chopped garlic for the first time in a decade!

As I sit here and write to you, I can’t smell anything but I am very encourage only after a week. Years ago I had read the grape seed extract did help people with our condition and it is the primary ingredient of this product.

I’ll keep you guys updated on my progress. If nothing else happens, I know now that up there somewhere in my sinus is the ability to smell. I have not lost it!

Greg, that’s for mentioning it!

, It looks like there are several makers of the product. Which one did you try? I found 1) Isotonix OPC-3 (300 grams $65) and 2) OPCXtra Isotonic OPC (300 grams $40)I am sure there are more.

Thanks, SamOn Tue, Oct 25, 2011 at 10:52 AM, Ansara, (Norbord) <anthony.ansara@...> wrote:
