The YMCA here has classes for arthritis patients. Our city is lucky to have a Y. Joan

Check local rehab centers. Often the National Arthritis Foundation will sponsor classes there. The water is usually warmer and exercises are geared toward arthritis.

It is really great for exercising, you need a pool deeper then 5 feet on one end, and you wear a wide rubber belt around your waste. Don't know what they are called, but every pool who has aquaaerobic classes has them, or a sportshop.Try also a YMCA.You don't feel pain because you don't put weight an your feet and compress the spine.
