Irrigation is a very effective, and benign treatment for most Samterites, not limited to recuperation from surgery. I am convinced that it has delayed my second surgery, indefinitely. Do it regularly. > but continuing with daily nasal sprays. > I recently developed an almost constant phantom odor similar to what we > use to call " foot cheese " or Fontina when we were young. has anyone > else experienced something similar? Any way to stop it? This is proably a partial odor becase your olefactory system is only partially effective -- some receptors are working, some not. It usually means you are part way to losing, or gaining, your sense of smell. Many here have experienced this phenomenon.
