Guest guest Posted December 17, 2008 Report Share Posted December 17, 2008 After 6 surgeries, I avoid it like the plague. Surgery really does beget surgery. My current ENT was shocked to see what irrepairable damage has been done through previous surgeries. I have not tried desens. I'm not convinced it is a long term solution, and after having 2 episodes of aphylactic shock, I'm not inclined to give it a try any time soon. I will say that mild steroids seem to offer the only real relief for the time being.
