My favorite source is Tehachapi Tea Co. <http://www.anursesherbaltea.com/> Their

product is of excellent quality at a very low price.

I have had fairly good results with it. It did not reduce the size of my rectal

adenocarcinoma but it virtually stopped its growth. I added a few drops of

bloodroot tincture to mine.

I've been making and using Essiac tea for over ten years for several

health issues but not cancer.

I get my supplies primarily from Ameriherbs in Ames, IA. I don't know if

they have a website yet.

I also forage some of the herbs and add them to the dried herbs and brew

Essiac carefully for many hours.

Hope tgus helps

1 800 7937345 ask for mark

i was led there by a 77 year olf lady who has had her advanced stage

lymphoma disappear[ tumors all over her body]

it is suplied in a dark glass bottle with an eye dropper for sublinguial

application

it has nothing for my typing / grammar as you can see, but i likeit over

brewed teas i have used in the past

my father in law used it [ 84 years old] post chemo and gained 80 lbs ,

enjoyede new found energies and inspiration, went from pj's to dressing

for trips to town daily and bouth a new car....was in great health until

his untimely death by a stroke

i use this producat as does my wife who is a rn, i am in no way

connected with this firm other than being a user

good luck

Dear Kathy and list,

just a quick note on making your own herbal decoctions:

medicinal herbal preparations will suffer some loss of quality (minor

to critical) if you use stainless steel utensils to prepare them in.

Acidic components found in many herbs will react with the metal and

oxidize. Some herbs are so sensitive to the way you handle them that

they will be largely rendered useless if you brew them any other way

than the right way; an example is ginseng, which is always prepared in

a double boiler or steamer (a pot within a pot), since it loses much

of its potency if cooked directly over the flame.

Enameled or glass utensils are the reluctant substitute for a heavy

ceramic or earthenware pot traditionally called for when you make

herbal medicines. Stainless steel is OK for food preparation in most

cases (though my grandmother, and old-school old-world nurse, taught

me many years ago that a soup or stew containing any sour ingredients

should never be cooked in one of those either).

Thanks Elena....I know when Mel used to make this tea he used

stainless steel pots, but now uses nothing but glass

cookware...thanks for catching that....I didn't thoroughly read the

recipe before copying and pasting.

I don't know what the dosage is, I only drink it as a tea, -for

prevention.

This is not the traditional recipe for Essiac tea. The main ingredients for

Essiac tea are: Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Turkey Rhubarb root, and Slippery

Elm bark. Go to

http://essiac-info.org/recipe1.html

Herbal Healer Academy sells a generic product called 4 Herb Tea that is very

good. There is information at that site also.

a, you are right! I gave the formula for colon cleanser by

mistake, here is the one for Essiac:

These are the quantities I used-

24oz. Burdock root

16oz. Sheep Sorrel

4oz. Slippery Elm

1oz. Rhubarb root

Use 10oz.of mixture in 2 gallons of distilled water, boil hard for

10 minutes, stir, and let sit for 6hrs. Stir well, and let sit for

an additional 6hrs., reboil, strain into a second pot, strain again

into dark glass containers, and refrigerate. 2oz. in 2oz. distilled

water twice daily. I had to locate this formula that I had

stashed..

Use porcelain pots, -NO ALUMINUM

Essiac is also available in capsules which i take for right now.

The plant calls " Eureka " you have to broil the leaves and drink it as tea and it

kills cancer in 1 week. Hmmm is hard to find this plant, but i,m still

searching.

Polly,

My dad had/has prostate cancer. He used saw palmetto and soaked it in alchol. He

also changed his diet. It went from an 11 down to a 3. He didn't have chemo,

radiation or sugery. He's doing fine now.

I have been using essiac tea for about 10 months. The best way to use it is brew

it yourself. You can get the bulk herb packet that makes 2 gallons at

herbalhealer.com .

I have nasalpharyngeal cancer which is rare & am progressing slowly. We have a

website at cry4help.bravehost.com - we are constantly adding new info to our

site.

Patti, thank you. One more question and sorry to be a bother....what is the

protocol? How many cups or glasses per day do you take?

Blessings to you too.

Another product which worked Very Well for me was VitaliTea from Health

PLus corporation - maybe in Ohio? Another name for " essiac " . And I've

heard there is an Essiak or something like that as well. I have made

" essiac " from scratch - it's a huge amount of work and takes a couple of

days.. Oh yes, stay very close to the bathroom for a couple of days if

you're not used to using Essiac! See:

TAMIE,

Does this work well for other cancers soaking the

palmetto in alcohol.

Where did he get the palmetto from and which alcohol

did he use and for how long did he soak it. How often

and how much did he take

It was reccommended to me by a gentleman who says it has controlled

his symptoms of Lupus and Fibro as well as his chiropractor's

leukemia. As with many such things, it sounds too good to be true.

Haven't heard of it but if it does all that I want it. My fibro is really

acting up on this cold Long Island day.

Joe,

Where do you get your herbs for the essiac tea? Jim has been on essiac

tea for several months, to no avail. We have been getting the Herbs

from Glum.
